Almost a year after the pair initially leaked late last year, we finally have a release date for the Air Jordan 4 Retro "Rare Air". After being released early in limited quantities during NBA All-Star Weekend, the new AJ4 is currently scheduled to release July 26th, 2025 via Nike SNKRS. The limited edition basketball sneaker releases in full-family sizing, and will retail for $220 USD (recommended retail price).
The Air Jordan 4 "Rare Air" features a premium black suede and nubuck upper together with an aged midsole for a vintage look. Red and blue details are present on the upper, sole and heel-tabs. While not an original colorway from 1989, this limited edition release comes with Nike Air branding. Jordan Brand is also bringing back removable tongue patches, with a small percentage of the AJ4 stock having golden lettering underneath, while most pairs feature silver lettering. The "Rare Air" collection also features an Air Jordan 3 with mirrored heel-tabs, a women's Air Jordan 1 Rare Air "Cinnabar" and a men's Air Jordan 1 Rare Air "Deep Royal Blue".
Air Jordan 4 Retro "Rare Air" (style code: FV5029-003) will release via Nike SNKRS on July 26th, 2025 in the United States. This limited edition release is also going to be available with retailers worldwide. The retail price is set at $220 USD, with the pair releasing in full-family sizing. As with most Air Jordan 4 releases, these are expected to be in high demand. Make sure to check with your local Air Jordan Retro retailer about their release procedure.
